Re: Accessing/unposting a old invoice from history
If all you want to do is to print an old invoice, that can be done on any invoice even if it is posted already. Here in our shop, I am constantly reviewing history invoices and I print them out for the customer to review. Simply look for the "Print" button at the lower right of the invoice screen ...

Re: Repair Link Manual Lookup
My experience in the years that I have been using it has been somewhat erratic although most of the time, it works aas designed. One thing I found out when Repair Link would not function properly was that I would restart my computer and then it seemed ok after that for awhile. I'm thinking that it ...

Re: Credit Card Processing Fee's
I build it in my labor rate. No separate charge.
Our customers are aware that we do it this way and they indicate that (1) they expect it, and (2) they prefer it this way as opposed to a separate charge on the invoice, and, (3) they respect us for it as it indicates to them that we are open and ...

Re: Search in WIP
If I may chime in on this, we also had experienced this and other issues in the past relativer to the WIP screen. At some point, I realized that not all the stations on our network had been updated. Once all the stations were updated with the latest of Windows and the latest from Mitchell!, the ...

Re: Scheduler bleed over appointments
I'm reminded of a saying that an old farmer told me quite some years ago (early 1970s). "He that persisteth winneth". Keep at it till you find what works for your situation.

Re: Scheduler bleed over appointments
Oh boy. This is an ongoing issue with us as well. But I have begun making notes on both the scheduler as well as the hard copy work order of additional time that may be needed and what to do when that happens. So far, the only way that I know of to allow for that is to initially physically allow for ...

Re: Ordering down
We have been using NexPart for some toime now and it is not uncommon to have some inconsistency of operation. Gets frustrating but I remind myself that it's only a man made program and will fail at times. So, we make the best of it.
Having said that, it is a good program and we like how it saves ...

Re: FORUM LINK NOT WORKING (Fixed)
The Forum link had not been working for me for several weeks but in the last couple of days it is working fine again. Finally. Not aware that I did anything to make it work but I got the same message as posted prior to mine.

Ok, so I found that. Thanks for the tip. I can't believe I missed that. So, my next question is "How do I put more than one phone number on the shop information"?

Re: Parts Invrntory - Out of Limit
Ahh there it is. For the value to stick you must do a search. Once the search is done the value is saved to whatever you have the limit set to. 5000 is just the max you can have as the value there.
Hey Hey!!!!! I was quite certain I was missing a step in there somewhere.
Thank you so much. I ...

Re: Parts Invrntory - Out of Limit
I am changing the number and then backing out. When I come back in, the number is still the same so I assume that I am missing something.megoff wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2024 12:24 pm Just to confirm, when you change the "Limit results" to 5000, are you searching right after or are you closing the window out and coming back?

Parts Inventory - Out of Limit
So, this morning I want to go through the inventory we have here in our shop and a message came up saying "The list of parts has exceeded the maximum allowed".
Now what do I do? I need to add more for our fleet.

Yea, I been having that also but decided not to complain but rather wait and see if anyone else is having the same issue. The older version was much more compact than this. Not sure what the logic is for this change.

Logo Size Is Reduced?
I am enjoying the 9.1.0.3357 release except for one small thing.
