Re: Ticket Erroring?

The first part of the error is telling. It mentions resources which is unique to your local computer. Check your Task Manager for memory usage when it occurs and close out of programs to gain some back.

Re: Getting Started With OneFlow

If only OE parts that basically makes it useless as far as selling the work. Hopefully they can integrate the parts catalogs quickly.

About question 2.
So if I'm using it correctly what is everyone else's work flow after looking at the car?

1. Call customer and talk about concern they dropped ...

Re: Getting Started With OneFlow

Ok. I got it set up. My problem was I was missing my shop name in "Shop Data". Never had it there since the logo was right next to the address at the top of the invoices. I do have 2 questions after using it for the day.

1. The thing that has me confused is how to get parts pricing into the ...

I believe this is caused by a missing engine vin identifier.

Re: Estimates constantly prompt for customer pricing levels?

There are two places where alternative pricing levels can be applied. You've already found the customer one, but there is one at the vehicle tab as well. Look for the 'Type' button while on the Vehicle tab. This allows for an exception from the Customer level for a special occasion, perhaps on a ...

Doing a little research and most of these codes are brake related. Seeing the sensor signal drop out is a huge cue. I do see a few harness replacements in ProDemand. I would concentrate there.

Re: Tracking Tech's Time

Unfortunately, BOT has only a few reports in this area and none have the data you require. The closest is Outstanding Labor Hours but it only displays Charged Hours. This report would be ideal if it had actual hours as well. You may want to reach out to BOT and ask if this could be modified. If you ...

Re: Bug switching from company to customer.

This happened to use today. First we created a new order via the Scheduler for a fleet, using the Company radio button. 36 minutes later we started another order the same way for Customer, however the Company fields were still visible. Needed to switch back and forth to get them to load.

Capture ...

We've seen this. Switch back and forth between Customer and Company and it comes back. I'll try to get some data on it too.

When browsing for TSBs through the Service Manual menu, if I click on a particular bulletin, read it and then click on the back arrow, I'm taken back to the exact category where I had just been (preferred). When I use the 1Search Plus menu to click on TSB quick link and I choose a lower category ...

Re: Lof and rev. #9 question

The beauty of it is this: you don't have to use Rev 9 if you don't want to. It's a choice. For my shop, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.

BTW, with the Revision overhaul it doesn't have to be called Rev 9 any longer, although I just might stay with tradition. :D

Re: Lof and rev. #9 question

You're not missing anything. While parts get updated in Revisions Canned Jobs and Labor do not when they use a manually entered amount that overrides a standard rate and time. Often oil changes and tire rotations will use a manually entered amount. My SA and I have to be diligent in adjusting to ...

This is why we run an AR report daily as a part of our End Of Day. It then gets scanned as a pdf and entered onto our server. Always have an AR value for any day.
