Estimates constantly prompt for customer pricing levels?

Post by JimtheFordGuy »

How do I reset "customer pricing level" so that canned jobs stop prompting me for customer's pricing level or standard hourly rate? The customer type is set to standard, we've never changed the hourly rate for any of the work we've done for them, but for a seemingly random number of our customers, Shopkey constantly prompts us about whether we want to use their "pricing level" for canned jobs. The same canned jobs can be added dozens of times to a different customer with no pop-up. I can't find a "pricing level" setting anywhere to change or reset it, but the Type on the customer info tab is set to Standard. I'm sure one of us service writers did something at some point that flagged them for special pricing, but how do we set it back to normal?

There are two places where alternative pricing levels can be applied. You've already found the customer one, but there is one at the vehicle tab as well. Look for the 'Type' button while on the Vehicle tab. This allows for an exception from the Customer level for a special occasion, perhaps on a vehicle that is out of the ordinary for that customer.
